Former Physician Accused of Sexual Assault Charges Against Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have stated that a ex- physician has been charged with performing assaults against thirty-eight individuals who were patients.
The Grave Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of acts of sexual assault – including some against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
A deputy chief prosecutor said, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Police Inquiry
The charges come after what investigators described as a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer will appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.

The charging documents outline the 45 sexual offences comprise:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
