AC Shadows Unveils Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden group.
The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Additional Material
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an special katana in addition to multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
